Dr. William M. Levine

Dr. William Levine is also an athlete.  As an avid runner, cyclist, tennis player, skier, and surfer, Dr. Levine has experienced first hand many of the ailments and injuries that all varieties of athletes may suffer. From heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, shin splints, sprains and strains, turf toe, etc, Dr. Levine has seen and successfully treated it all. He has vast experience training and treating professional as well as high school athletes, and also the “weekend warrior”.

Dr. William M. Levine is also a cosmetic and aesthetic podiatrist. He offers botox injections for overly sweaty feet(hyperhydrosis) and dermal filler injections(Radiesse, Juvederm, Restalyn) for patients with metatarsal fat pad atrophy. Many women experience this fat pad atrophy in the ball of their feet as severe pain and numbness. He now offers his rejuvenating foot “facial” which includes whirlpool bath, massage with exotic oils, nail fungus removal with laser, nail bleaching, and state of the art instruments and creams to remove all cracking skin, corns and calluses.

William M. Levine D.P.M. has enjoyed nearly two decades as a podiatrist. For the past 13 years, Dr. William M. Levine has served as an Attending Podiatrist at Maimonides Medical Center and the Brooklyn Hospital. In 1993, he established his first private practice, which remains in operation. Thirteen years later, Dr. Levine expanded the scope of his care when he opened additional facilities in Manhasset, New York, and Far Rockaway, New York. Over the course of his career, William M. Levine has provided his services for free to such athletic events as the Special Olympics and the Goodwill Games. He also spent four years working with Bravo Ambulance, a volunteer ambulance service that offers emergency care to residents of Brooklyn, New York. Throughout the entirety of his career, Dr. Levine has remained an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. In 1983, William M. Levine began his training at the State University of New York at Binghamton, from which he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Levine then relocated to Chicago, where he completed his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He received further training at the Fort Leonard Wood Army Hospital, where he undertook an externship in trauma and reconstructive surgery. William M. Levine then moved to Newark, New Jersey, to perform a podiatric surgical residency at Saint Michael’s Medical Center. He later completed an ankle arthroscopy course. He is an Associate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and he is also certified by the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners. In his free time, William M. Levine enjoys watching and playing sports such as soccer, baseball, football, skiing, golf, and tennis. He also spends much of his time on home improvement projects, reading, and traveling.
